How does an electric scooter work?
Electric scooters are powered by electricity stored in a battery. This battery powers a motor that drives the wheels. When you give a push and press the gas pedal, an electronic signal is sent to the motor, telling it to start. The harder you press on the gas pedal, the faster the scooter goes.

Electric scooters generally require less preparation time, as all you need to do is attach the handlebars or stem. The necessary tools and bolts are usually supplied with the scooter.
Why doesn't my scooter move when I first start up?
Check that the scooter is correctly charged and that the charger LED has changed from red to green.

How long does an electric scooter battery last?
In theory, an electric scooter can be recharged several times. This depends on the type of battery. Most batteries today are lithium-ion. Batteries of this type can be recharged a large number of times (generally between 1,000 and 1,200 cycles) before seeing their performance drop noticeably.
This will vary according to how you use the battery and the best practices you apply to prolong its life.
Please note that progressive battery wear and loss of autonomy are normal consequences.
How can I ensure that my electric battery lasts as long as possible?
- Do not drain the battery completely. Recharge it as soon as it is on reserve (between 20 and 30% residual charge).
- Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures; an average of 15°C is ideal.
- Always use the original charger, as they are very sensitive to the charging mode, which differs from one charger to another.
